So I just got back from Avatar like 15 minutes ago and I have to say. If you do not go see it you will be missing out on an incredible experience. I mean freakin ASTOUNDINGLY AMAZING!
Its been a long time since a movie left me gasping, and reeling at the end. And thoroughly stunned into incoherent idiocy. As Shadow_Settles said very aptly, I wish I lived there, I wish I was one of them.
Oh god and deities above I wish that were possible. There was such a longing to just become part of that fantasy that it was slightly unsettling.*whimpers* But given that impossible chance I would jump on it in New York Minute!!!
There were a lot of parallels and cultural to real life, and I have this vague feeling of disgust of machinery and mankind and love for the jungle, and the forests and the creatures that live there. Like this movie slaps you in the face and says, Hey!
Goodness I couldnt pick out which part I liked the best but the whole movie was thrilling and at certain parts I definitely got the tingly feeling all through me. Emotions were well put across to the audience and made you feel like you were involved, heart-wrench, anger, excitement, humor, fear EVERYTHING!!
All in all, our theatre gave a near standing ovation, it was sweet.
If you have not gone to see it, please do. Itll give you a satisfied feeling at least, and a sense of peace. Well worth 7.75.
Actually the less-than-polite way to say go watch it is, If you do not I will hunt you down and beat you with the wrath of an angry god.
As an end note, I really need to re-design my OC now. Lol.

To wig, or not to wig... that is the question: whether tis nobler in comics to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous bad hair, or to cover your head with a worse cut that's fake, and by failing, be mocked... ~sekamu
